All-In or Fold Hold’em (AoF Hold’em) is a fast, simplified version of Texas Hold’em designed for players who enjoy quick action and high stakes decisions.
Like No Limit Hold’em, each player is dealt two private cards (“hole cards”), and there are five community cards placed face-up on the table to build your best five-card hand.
The key difference:
In AoF Hold’em, your only options are:
- Go All-In with your entire stack
- Or Fold your cards
There is no calling, checking, or small betting in this game.
The goal is the same: Win chips by either having the best five-card hand at showdown or forcing all others to fold.
How to Play All-In or Fold Hold’em
Blinds
Two players post forced bets:
- Small Blind
- Big Blind (These create the initial pot to fight for each hand.)
Dealing Hole Cards
- Each player is dealt two private cards face down, which only they can see.
Decision Point: All-In or Fold
Now, instead of multiple betting rounds, each player makes a single decision:
- Go All-In with their entire chip stack, committing to see the board run out,
- Or Fold and wait for the next hand.
The Flop, Turn, and River
If two or more players go all-in, the dealer will reveal:
- Three cards (the Flop)
- One card (the Turn)
- One card (the River)
These five community cards are used by all players to build the best five-card hand.
There is no further betting after the initial all-in decision; the board simply runs out, and the best hand wins the pot.
How Do You Form a Hand?
Just like in regular Hold’em, you can use:
- Both your hole cards + 3 community cards
- One hole card + 4 community cards
- All 5 community cards
The best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
